Notes and Rumors

As WWDC approaches, more and more rumors are being spread. Probably the most important one is that macOS 27 will drop support for x64 processors which means no more hackintoshing.

Hackintoshing is the process of running macOS on non-Apple hardware. Because of this macOS has been run on all sorts of computers for many reasons. A major is the cost of Apple hardware. Another reason could be performance. Since you can run macOS on literally anything if you put enough effort this means you can run macOS on hardware that is even better than Apple's own hardware. Either way, it will be sad to see so many old Macbooks and Hackintosh slowly fade away.

We may also see macOS Snow Leopard like stability improvements, Siri may switch to a lightweight Gemini model and a new interface for the model.
